Medical Cannabis for Cancer Pain

For anyone with cancer, pain can unfortunately be a common experience.

The impact of tumours pressing on nerves or other organs. Expected, or unexpected, treatment side effects. Post-surgery recovery

Physical pain can also be compounded by difficult mental health challenges of managing the emotional and social strains of the disease.

But while pain may be a common experience, it doesn’t have to an accepted one.

Cancer pain is treatable.

Can We Treat It?

Yes.

A lot depends on the type and severity of your pain, but our doctors are available now to understand your condition, where you are in your treatment journey, and what is and isn’t working for you.

With access to your summary care records, there’s no need to wait days or weeks to align things with your GP or hospital. It can be done in minutes.

What Can We Treat It With?

It’s important to find the right treatment that works for you and your pain symptoms.

If you have tried two or more types of medicine for your pain, and they are not working, our doctors are licenced and trained to prescribe regulated natural treatments.

How Soon Can We Treat It?

How does today sound?

Our doctors are available from 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday, with appointments usually available within hours.

And if eligible – following a short questionnaire – our doctors can approve your treatment prescription within just 24 to 48 hours.

Appointments are available here.

Don’t Want To Treat It With Botanical Medicines?

That’s okay.

Our GPs are still available to you to discuss your health issues and provide advice on further options that may work for your pain.

How Soon Can We Treat It?

How does today sound?

Our doctors are available from 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday, with appointments usually available within hours.

The first step is to create your Treat It profile. It only takes a few minutes and just means our doctors can learn a little more about you, your chronic pain symptoms, as well your condition and treatment history.

And unlike other providers, we also have – with your consent – secure access to your NHS care records, meaning there’s no need to wait days or weeks to align your treatment with your GP or hospital. Following a detailed, online consultation, a prescription can be generated swiftly, in accordance with clinical guidance, your existing medical history and any treatment plans.

Does It Have To Be Medical Cannabis?

No, not at all.

We also have a team of GPs available for you to discuss your health issues with and provide advice on the range of treatment options that may work for your chronic pain management. They are free to talk to you now on our GP Service, which – like Treat It – has doctors available 8am – 8pm every day, with appointments usually available within hours.
